Joanna Trewern is an expert in food systems sustainability with over a decade of experience driving transformation across the public, private, and NGO sectors. As Director of Partnerships at ProVeg International, she leads corporate and policy-facing initiatives designed to translate research into real-world market transformation. Prior to joining ProVeg, Joanna was Head of Consumption at WWF-UK, where she led high-impact retail and foodservice partnerships aimed at making sustainable food affordable, accessible and appealing. She holds a PhD in Sustainability which explored the role retailers play in shaping consumer dietary habits. Known for bridging the gap between academic evidence and industry execution, Joanna is a trusted advisor on corporate sustainability, behaviour change, and food and agriculture policy.
